Your Global Benefits is not a traditional brokerage. We're an employee benefits consulting firm built around one belief — that the job doesn't end when the policy is sold.
When my mother needed emergency medical care while traveling overseas, my parents turned to the large national agency that had sold them their coverage. The agency's response was a single sentence: "Call this 800 number."
I knew better. As a licensed agent myself, I knew the agency could have stepped in, made calls, and gotten my parents real help — faster. As the insured, they were just another caller in a queue. With an agent advocating, the outcome is almost always different. The agency simply chose not to get involved. The HR department at the company deferred to the agency. And my parents were left on their own.
I thought it was an isolated failure. It wasn't. Recently, a colleague's family member — an employee at a company with more than a thousand people on staff — had to personally help a coworker file a critical illness claim, because their national agency wouldn't do more than recite an 800 number. I've heard the same story too many times to count.
"People buy insurance to have someone in their corner when they need it most. That is what an agent is for. That belief is the entire reason this firm exists."
Because the moment people need help rarely happens at a convenient time or place.
A medical emergency can happen on vacation, on a business trip, or a continent away from home — exactly where most agencies stop paying attention. Your Global Benefits is built on the opposite principle: your people deserve an advocate wherever they are, whenever something goes wrong. The globe in our logo sits in a pair of hands for a reason.
A wireframe globe, a group of people, and a pair of hands holding them up. Coverage that reaches anywhere. Support you can feel. That's the promise — drawn before it was ever written.
More than two and a half decades designing and managing employee benefit programs for employers of every size and funding model.
Past President and Trustee of the Houston Association of Health Underwriters — a long-standing advocate for both the role of the agent and the consumer.
Board member of the Dennis W. Holder Scholarship Fund, supporting the children and grandchildren of Houston firefighters.
Jamey brings 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She started in a support role at BenefitMall, where she was promoted to Renewal Specialist, then moved into the benefits department at Securance as an Account Manager — working alongside Jeffrey Bacot. Today, the two continue that partnership at Your Global Benefits.
Jamey specializes in claims advocacy, member support, and HR guidance on benefits and IRS reporting — helping employers and their employees navigate coverage with confidence. When a claim gets stuck or an employee needs answers, she is the one working the file until it is resolved.
Plans and policies are commodities. Standing beside your people when a claim goes wrong is not. That's the real value of an agent — and our standard.
Anyone can be responsive during open enrollment. We measure ourselves by how fast we answer in March, in July, and at 4:55 on a Friday.
Not a once-a-year visit. Strategic guidance, compliance cover, and operational support that works like an extension of your team.
Clear advice, honest trade-offs, and no jargon designed to keep you dependent. You should always understand what you're paying for and why.
Tell us what's working and what isn't. We'll tell you, honestly, whether we can do better.
